InHome Recruiting Intelligence is a scouting service. We evaluate football players and provide those evaluations to college and professional football programs. If you are an athlete or a parent, that sharing is the entire point of the service, and this page explains exactly what we collect, who sees it, and how to take it back.

Who we are

What we collect

Category	Examples
Identity and school	Name, graduation year, position, high school or college, hometown and state, jersey number.
Physical and testing	Height, weight, wingspan, timed marks, track results, combine or camp numbers, and the source we verified them against.
Film	Links you give us (Hudl, MaxPreps, YouTube, game film) and short graded clips our scouts cut from that film.
Photos	Headshot and wingspan photos, when supplied by the athlete, a parent, a coach or a scout.
Scout evaluation	Trait grades, athletic and production grades, character gates, football IQ, recommendation tier and the scout's written narrative. This is created by us, about you.
Athlete assessment	Your written answers to interview questions covering background, influences, adversity, learning style and motivation; your answers to film-diagnosis questions; a forced-choice personality inventory and the resulting profile; and questions about NIL and money.
Production log	Game statistics, weekly production grades and the public source for each.
Contact	Email and phone for the athlete where 18 or older, and for a parent, guardian or coach.
Technical	Basic server logs. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell data to advertisers.

Who we share it with

We share evaluations and the profile information above with:

College football programs. Coaching and personnel staff at member institutions, through an access-code portal, or by direct delivery of a report.
Professional clubs. Scouts and personnel staff at professional football organizations, on the same basis.
InHome scouts and staff, who need it to do the evaluation.
Service providers who host the platform and store files on our behalf.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or anyone outside football personnel evaluation. We do not run targeted advertising, and we do not use athlete data to train advertising or recommendation systems.

The release you are giving

Sharing with programs is the service

When an athlete or a parent submits information, or completes an InHome assessment, they are authorizing InHome to evaluate that athlete and to share the resulting profile and evaluation with college and professional football programs for recruiting and personnel purposes.

That includes the film, the photos, the measurables, the scout's grades and written opinion, and, where completed, the assessment answers and personality profile. A program that receives an evaluation may retain it in its own recruiting systems, and we cannot retrieve it from them.

Athletes under 18

Most of the athletes we evaluate are in high school, and we design around that.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
An adult must be involved. Where the athlete is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent to the evaluation and to the sharing described above. We require a parent or guardian contact on the record and we keep an adult on the thread.
The assessment requires parent or guardian consent. The athlete assessment collects the most personal information we hold, including written answers about family and background and a personality profile. Where the athlete is under 18, we require parent or guardian consent before the assessment is taken.
A parent or guardian can see it and can pull it. On request we will show a parent or guardian everything we hold on their child, correct it, stop sharing it, or delete it.
We limit what we ask for. We do not collect precise location, we do not advertise to minors, and we do not use a minor's information for anything other than football evaluation and the sharing described above.

How long we keep it

We keep an evaluation for as long as it is useful to the programs we serve, which in practice means through an athlete's recruitment and playing career, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Assessment answers and personality results are deleted on request at any time. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.

Your choices

Whatever state you live in, we offer all of the following to every athlete and to the parent or guardian of any athlete under 18:

See it. Ask for a copy of everything we hold about the athlete, including the scout's narrative.
Fix it. Tell us something is wrong and we will correct it or note the dispute on the record.
Stop the sharing. Withdraw the release and we will remove the athlete from program-facing boards and stop distributing the evaluation.
Delete it. Ask us to delete the profile, the assessment, the photos and the evaluation.
Opt out of the assessment while still being evaluated on film. The assessment is optional.

Email drlee@inhomerecruiting.com and we will act within 30 days. There is no cost and we will not penalize an athlete's evaluation for making any of these requests.

Security

Data is held in an access-controlled database and file store. Program portals require an access code issued to a named staff. Scout accounts are individually issued. We restrict internal access to the people working an evaluation.

Accuracy and opinion

A scouting report contains professional opinion, including critical opinion. We stand behind our grades, and we will correct factual errors on request, but a disagreement with a grade is not a factual error. Programs are told that evaluations are our opinion and not a guarantee of any outcome.

Changes

If we change how we use athlete information in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, notify the athlete or guardian on file.
